Game Description

In Poyon No Dungeon Room, players take on the role of Poyon, a little pink creature who has been sent into a dungeon full of dangers. The aim is to explore the dungeons, fight enemies, solve puzzles and find the way out.
The gameplay takes place in 2D environments made up of interconnected rooms. Players must navigate carefully, collecting useful items and facing bosses at the end of each floor. Combat is turn-based, with a simple attack and defence system.
The game boasts a colourful and cute visual style, with detailed sprites of Poyon and the enemies. The soundtrack is also appreciated for its catchy themes.
Although still exclusive to Japan, Daikaijuu Monogatari - Poyon No Dungeon Room is considered a good representative of the dungeon crawler genre on Game Boy Color, with a charming atmosphere and accessible gameplay.
