Game Description

Super Mario Bros. follows Mario and Luigi as they race to rescue Princess Peach from the evil Bowser. In their debut platforming quest, the brothers leap through enemy-filled levels, dodge traps, and uncover hidden bonuses. The Super Mushroom makes Mario grow, the Fire Flower gives him firepower, and the Star grants brief invincibility. Each level ends with a flagpole and the higher you grab it, the more points you score. Secret bonus areas and warp zones allow shortcuts through the game. A timeless classic that defined a genre.
